Our Story by Nick Newsom
Matt Grofsky and I have been colleagues since 2000. Before starting F9 Group, Inc. Matt was an avid graphic designer / programmer and Nick worked as an IT director at Perot Systems. Matt and I linked up in the Mortgage business and helped several large mortgage bankers manage the analytics of their direct mail campaigns. Matt and I also created several Point of Sale, Automated Underwriting, and various other systems to streamline the mortgage process.
Before the Mortgage Industry decided to melt down Matt and I decided to take our marketing software (at the time called marketing machine) to other industries. During this time we also created a product called Call-Q, a telephone name and address capture system used by TV advertisers to collect customer data without a live operator. Our TV clients were able to save money by moving away from live operators (typically costing $3-5 per call) to our automated system costing just $0.99. Today Call-Q Name and Address capture is running strong and has a presence in the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland. We are able to accept names, addresses, and custom fields in ANY English speaking country and can handle foreign languages upon request. Today Matt and I help our clients by providing a hybrid media agency approach.
